King’s Lynn to Mundford, Mundford to Swaffham, Swaffham to King’s Lynn
Distance
40 to 50 miles
Time Needed
1 hour or less
Description
Leave King’s Lynn on the A10 from Hardwick Roundabout heading South. Turn left onto the A134 towards Thetford. Cross the A1122 at Stradsett and carry on to Mundford. Turn left onto the A1065 and head North to Swaffham. Head West to King’s Lynn on the A47.
Apart from a short burst of dual carriageway between Swaffham the junction with the A1122 (roundabout), this route is all single lane. The A10 stretch is uninspiring(mostly 40 limit), but the A134 and A1065 are mainly, open sweeping roads with reasonable surfaces. Watch out for farm traffic and the inevitable muck on the roads!
There are also hidden dips on some parts of the A134, so make sure of the overtake before you commit.
